Services Station Purchases
1 entry with every €20 Spend (eg 2 for €40+, 3 for €60+ etc)
Home Heating Oil Purchases
1 entry for 300ltrs
2 entries for 500ltrs
3 entris for 1000ltrs
1 entry for every fuel card transaction (regardless of spend)
Competition is not open to Bulk Commercal Fuel Purchases
Age, eligibility or geographical restrictions;
Entrants should be 17yrs or older and residents in the Republic of Ireland. Competition is for Domestic Customers of Sweeney Oil only. Commercial Customers are not eligible for entry forms on commercial orders but may obtain an entry form on personal/domestic accounts.
Employees and immediate family members of Sweeney Oil are not eligible for competition entry.
Restrictions on the number of entries or prizes;
Applicants can enter as many times as they wish provided they have made the transactions as stated above under “How to Enter”
Requirements for proof of purchase
(a) Service Station customers will be invited to fill in or take away entry form during purchase transaction in the Service Station. These forms can be returned at a later date without proof of purchase but each ticket has a unique serial number and fraudulent or conterfeit tickets will be disqualified.
(b) Home Heating Oil Customers will be given entry forms by their driver when receiving their fuel or posted into their letterbox with a pre-addressed envelope in the event of them not being home at time of delivery, these entries must be posted into Sweeney Oil before the competition closing date (Midnight 19th October 2017)
Applicants should be 17 years or over to win the car, however entry forms can be submitted by a younger person on behalf of an eligible candidate.
Criteria for judging entries:
A Sweeney Oil employee will draw the weekly winning ticket from each depot and service station (Centre). Semi Final
A Sweeney Oil representative will draw 7 finalists, 1 from each of the 7 centres live on Galway Bay FM on October 20th. This means 7 individual draws live on air.
The winner will receive a prize certificate telling them they have won a 2018 registered car that can be collected in January 2018.
The six runners can choose either a €250 voucher for the Clifden Station House Hotel OR a €250 Millars Connemara voucher.
Limitations & Obligations (e.g. post-event publicity)
Winner is responsible for vehicle registration, license, title and insurance fees and for all costs associated with any available upgrade/option packages and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified herein. Winner must take delivery of vehicle within 30 days of notice of availability from Higgins Motorpark Ltd., Headford Road, Galway.
Winner must a have valid Irish driver’s license and proof of insurance to take delivery. Vehicle awarded may differ from any vehicle shown in promotional materials. Specific prize vehicle details, such as colour, options and equipment, will be determined by Sponsor (Sweeney Oil) in its sole discretion. Prize may not be transferred or assigned. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole or in part with another prize of comparable or greater value if the intended prize is not available for any reason as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
WINNER IS SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY THE SPONSOR AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR (Sweeney Oil). AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF THE PRIZE UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner’s name, hometown, likeness, statements and other personally identifiable information for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes, in connection with this Promotion.
The Winner will be expected to take part in publicity photos for use by Sweeney Oil on our Social Media platforms and website.
