Health & Safety Policy
It is the policy of Fate Park Ltd to comply fully with the following Acts and Regulations:
- Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
- Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006.
- Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 1993 & 2007.
- Road Traffic Acts 1961-2006.
- Road Transport Working Time Directive No. 2002/15/EC on the Organization of the Working Time of persons performing mobile road transport activities.
- EU Regulations 3821/85 and 561/2006-Tacho ADR -Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations 2007.
We will ensure so far as is reasonably practicable the safety, health and welfare of all employees at all our places of work. We provide such information, training and supervision as may be needed for this purpose. This safety statement is a plan to minimise the risk of injury and ill health at our place of work. It is also the policy of the company to protect, so far as is reasonably practicable, persons not employed by this company who may be affected by our activities.
In pursuance of the general statement of safety policy the company will provide and maintain a safe place of work, safe plant and machinery and safe systems of work. We shall carry out a detailed hazard identification exercise, risk assessment and implement control measures as required. Resources shall be made available as necessary.
All employees have the responsibilities to co-operate with management to achieve a healthy and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others. It is the policy of the company to consult all staff and employees on matters of health and safe workplace and to take reasonable care of themselves and others.
It is policy of this company to consult all staff and employees on matters of health and safety and employees are hereby notified of the company policy and are encouraged to comply with their duties under the 2005 Act to notify the company management of identified hazards in the workplace.
The policy will be kept up to date, particularly as the business changes in nature and size. To ensure this, the policy and the way in which it has operated will be reviewed regularly but at least on a yearly basis.
