Environmental Policy
Fate Park's business operation involves the transport, storage and distribution of Petroleum Products.
Our environmental policy is a means of ensuring continuous improvement of environmental performance and the prevention of pollution. To this end we will specifically target the loss of petroleum products into the environment, and maximise our efforts in recovery and interception. Protection of the environment is an integral part of our activities. The minimum goal is full compliance with the legislative requirements. When applying resources to improving environmental performance, proper account will be taken of costs involved and the benefit derived from initiatives and actions proposed.
Objectives
- Consider environmental implications in making company decisions at all levels.
- Reduce to an absolute minimum the environmental impact of emissions to air, land and water from the company’s operations.
- Minimise the generation of waste and take all practical steps to see that waste generated is recycled or disposed of in an environmentally safe manner.
- Maintain an environmentally safe transport policy.
- Communications for two way transfer of information with local community and conservation groups.
- Record and investigate promptly any spillage of product.
- Promote the involvement of employees by consultation, education and commitment, in attaining our objectives.
